ITEM 1: What I've Been Writing

The Utah Mine Disaster:

Coming from a family of miners, I am continually concerned about their work environment. My paternal grandfather worked in the deep cold coal mines of North Wales, starting about age nine. He was seriously injured in a Utah quarrying accident.

My maternal grandmother lost her husband in the Scofield, Utah mine explosion and subsequent carbon monoxide poisoning that killed about 250 miners. My mother was not sired by that gentlemen that if he had been spared would be my grandfather. My grandmother remarried and my mother came from that union.

I often wonder if I would exist if that explosion had not occurred. The ramifications of men and women dying before their child-bearing years are over passes down to the generations forever. You will easily find my article below in the article feed.

ITEM 2: Current Events

The Whitehouse:

Folks are leaving the White House. Karl Rove failed to set up a Republican Dynasty essentially changing the country to a one party system. Well, I'm glad he did something right (by failing).

The Press Secretary is leaving. He seemed to be a bit more outgoing then his predecessor but no more intelligent. He says that he has financial needs. Perhaps he is concerned greatly about his health and the welfare of his family. May the Good Lord bless him with better health and longer life. See my article in the feed below.

That Gambling Referee:

I was amazed that he could predict the outcome of a game if he knew who the referees were to be. Well, I've always said that the referees determine the outcome of a game far too often. See my article in the feed below.

ITEM 3: What's New in Technology

Formation of the Moon

I wrote another article for the kids. See it below in the article feed. Read the part about the moon and then follow the link to learn of some interesting research.

I've been amazed by the fact that our moon is the only one in the Universe so far discovered that has no name. In my science fiction articles I call it NO NAME MOON.

Life as we know it would not be possible without our precious moon that stabilizes are orbit and makes the weather somewhat bearable.

There are so many things like that in our universe. If the Big Bank had been too big, stars and then planets would never have formed. If it was too small without enough umph, the stars would have formed but would have not had time to go supernovae before the universe collapsed. We are made up of the elements formed in ancient stars. Since we are on this planet which is zooming through space, I guess we are "moving stars." Not funny? Oh, well!

ITEM 4: Making Money on the Internet

That All Important List

I went to one of those seminars on making money on the Internet. It was held in Twin Falls from folks up from Salt Lake City.

One young man they brought with them has made his millions, has gotten board, and is now making more millions just to keep busy.

It's hard for me to see and get to know guys like that. I know quite a few that actually make money in the Internet. I have lots of sites but little income from the Internet. I guess it is because I don't have a sad story to propel me into money-making activity.

You know the story: The bill collectors were at the door and driving me crazy on the telephone. My old car fell apart in front of my very eyes and I had to walk to my job at the hamburger joint. My wife left me and sued me for alimony and child support. I came d3won with leprosy and couldn't even afford to go to the emergency room. Then I decided that I would not let the World Beat Me Down. I would succeed no matter what. That's when I met Joe Garbo who got me out of my old thinking habits and onto the road to riches.

All the big gurus say that you must have a list. You need to collect names to make money. With this precious list, you then have a captive audience to sell to. They are very serious about this and they are right. That is how my son makes money on the Internet. He has a little list like the Lord High Executioner (Mikado).
